For those concerned with security; you may be interested in this Spyware Watchdog website. The site itself is an open source project and has a growing list of articles reviewing the “spyware level” - ranging from not spyware to extremely high - of a whole swath of programs. Among them are articles about Discord, Unity, IceCat and Otter Browser.

This is a good collection of information as we are all sometimes forced to reveal our private, sensitive data without our knowledge. Also nice are the hints how to turn it off (e.g. Discord).
