Chocolate Mousse (Vegan)

Vegan Chocolate Mousse

This surprisingly delicious chocolate mousse dessert is easily made from three New World plants, namely avocado, cocoa and agave. The avocados should be very ripe, to the point where the navel almost - or even just - starts to mold.

Ingredients

  • avocado(s)
  • cocoa powder
  • agave syrup

Procedure

  1. Peel the avocados and remove the nut.
  2. Break down the fleshy parts of the avocados using a fork or mixer; depending on desired texture.
  3. Add the cocoa powder and mix.
  4. Now add agave syrup to taste, mix some more and your mousse in done.

I feel like photo proof would be great to go with this but that sounds delicious. Thanks for sharing @Modanung.

Did you ever try to work with Aquafaba?
I prefere it from chickpeas, you can make it stiff like egg white.

With the right oil/fat you can make also a very good vegan ice cream.

It sounds familiar, but never used it. Frozen bananas from the blender also make nice vegan ice cream. Peel before freezing.
